Located near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Millcreek is an 87-acre (35.2-hectare) community that is based on the principle of preserving common open space. When finished, the project will include 103 single-family homes, 80 townhouses, and 61 carriage house units. In addition, a bank barn–a barn that is set into the side of a hill–was restored. A cluster development, Millcreek utilizes small lot sizes to preserve a contiguous natural and groomed landscape that is largely held in common. Roadways curve to follow the topography of the site and buildings were designed to be compatible with steep slopes.
